There are so many things you can do when camping. You can hike, explore a cave, or go fishing. You can visit scenic areas depending on your campsite. Although there are plenty of activities during the day, it is difficult to come up with an exciting activity when the night falls.
Most do not give it much of a thought because they expect to be too tired during the night. However, you can make your camping nights just as exciting. You can do many things aside from staring at the lanterns coleman. Here are some of the activities that you can do:
- You can play charades with your friends. This is just one of the games you can do at night. You can come up with other games that are fun for everyone. However, you have to observe the quiet time in the site. You do not want to create a bad impression just because you want to have fun.

- You can also enjoy a barbecue with your family. You can give the kids marshmallow on a stick and tell stories. It is the best time to hear your kids tell their stories. You might be surprised how they have grown. It is also a nice time to plan for the activities the next day. This is very helpful especially if you have run out of ideas.
- If you want to do something relaxing and/or romantic, nothing can beat stargazing. This is probably the simplest activity you can do while camping. You can have the light and heat of the led camping lantern in the background while your back is against the grass. If you find that uncomfortable, you can always spread your sleeping bag and cuddle with your partner.
- You can also bring some board games with you and play with your friends. This is great because you will not make loud noise. You can also enjoy it with anyone who knows the game. If you have limited number of board games, you can play by team. It is fun to have your children cheer for you as you battle it out with your wife.
The nighttime does not have to be boring. The gas lanterns made it easier to do activities when the night falls. Use your imagination.
