Gas Lanterns

Have you ever been in the woods at night without any light?  It is pitch black and you can´t see a thing.  If you go too far you will run into branches or a tree and probably get scratched up, hurt or fall down.  You can´t even see an animal approaching putting you in danger, you might be able to see just their eyes but it is an every feeling being in the woods at night without a light.  You need a Coleman lantern help light your way through the woods.  If you have a Coleman lantern you can sometimes see for miles ahead since there is no other light around.

If you are in the woods a camping lantern is a must whether it is a kerosene lantern, a led camping lantern, gas lantern, electric lantern for camping or a rechargeable lantern.  There is no way around it, trying to get by in the woods without a camping lantern is insane.  You will never make it anywhere besides upside a tree or flat on your face without one.

The wonderfulness of a kerosene lantern, or a gas lantern, is that you can already have ready another gas or kerosene tank in case the one that you are using runs out.  The led camping lanterns are great because you can carry extra batteries and if the batteries that are being used run out you can quickly change them and the batteries don´t way very much.  The more difficult thing, is if there is no place to recharge your batteries for the Coleman rechargeable lantern because you are way out in the middle of nowhere you might have a harder time, but these too are great for a shorter trip or a trip where you can be close to a place to recharge them.

Your camping lantern is perfect because it has a great capacity for amplifying your view in front or around you so that you can see way in advance if you are close to an object that can hurt you such as a tree root that is coming up out of the ground, low-lying branches or small tree stumps and you can see if you are in the path of dangerous animals or snakes.  Your camping lantern will keep you out of unseen danger in a heartbeat.

If you are a backpacking hiker you can even find a small backpacking lantern made perfect for helping you down a dark trail. This backpacking lantern is perfect in case of an emergency at night you can set it down beside a person if he is hurt to examen where he is hurt and if it is serious enough to call out for help or tries to go for help.

You should always take care when cleaning out Coleman lanterns. Because if you don´t do it right you can break the globe or ruin the lantern.  Remember that if you don´t take time in cleaning out your Coleman lantern, the brightness of the light will diminish and you won´t be able to see as far in the night.  Just remember that your Coleman lantern in whatever form you decide is best for you is a must when you are out in the woods or you might not ever get back to where you need to be.
